1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Coffee Rider app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. About Coffee Rider

Coffee Rider is a mobile application that helps riders discover coffee stops, plan routes, and organise group rides. The App is operated by Coffee Rider ("we", "us", or "our").

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to access most features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

• Post content that is abusive, offensive, or misleading

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its infrastructure

• Impersonate another person or entity

• Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as profile information, route data, and group details). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use, store, and display it for the purpose of operating the App. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe third-party rights.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

The App offers optional Pro subscription plans. Subscription pricing and features are displayed in-app at the time of purchase.

• iOS: Subscriptions are managed through Apple in-app purchases. Billing and cancellation are handled via your Apple ID account settings.

• Android and Web: Subscriptions are processed through Stripe. You can manage or cancel your subscription from within the App.

Refunds are subject to the refund policies of Apple or Stripe respectively. We do not offer refunds directly.

7. Free Trial

Where a free trial is offered, it will be clearly described in-app including the trial period and what happens at the end of the trial. No charge is made during the trial period.

8. Intellectual Property

All content within the App that is not user-submitted — including design, code, logos, and text — is owned by or licensed to Coffee Rider and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

9. Location Data

The App uses your location to provide routing and group ride features. You can control location permissions through your device settings. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how location data is used.

10. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including Google Maps, Firebase, and Stripe. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that route information will always be accurate.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coffee Rider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the App.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen within the App.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
